by Rebecca Farley on December 8, 2010

On Nov. 12, 2010, the Alliance for Health  Reform held a briefing to discuss the impact of the midterm elections on health reform and other issues. Presenters offered their perspectives on what Republicans might do with respect to health reform, how Democrats might respond, and how other health programs such as Medicare, Medicaid and CHIP might be affected by the new congressional lineup.

A recording, transcript, and summary of this event are now available on the Alliance for Health Reform’s website. Additional materials include video recordings of each presenter, briefing documents, and other articles of interest.

Presenters at the briefing included:

  • John Rother, AARP
  • Norm Ornstein, American Enterprise Institute
  • Dean Rosen, Mehlman Vogel Castagnetti

A full list of all past Alliance briefings (including recordings, transcripts, and other materials) is available online.
