Hill Day 2011: You Have Questions. We Have the Answers.

by Rebecca Farley on February 4, 2011

There has been a lot of talk recently about federal policy changes that could impact the addictions and mental health safety net. Talking heads are debating whether Congress will slash the budget, whether health reform will be upheld in court, whether states will be able to sustain a large Medicaid expansion, how health reform will affect providers and agencies – and the list goes on.

If you’re like most Americans, you probably have a lot of questions about how all of this will affect you and the clients you serve. At the National Council’s 2011 Public Policy Institute and Hill Day, July 19-20 in Washington D.C., we have the answers you’ve been looking for.

Join us for the National Council’s 2011 Public Policy Institute and Hill Day, where you’ll get answers to your questions about federal behavioral health funding and policy and meet with your legislators to advocate for your programs. Learn more about Hill Day on our website – or, check out our Frequently Asked Questions about Hill Day, including cost and logistics, information about Hill Day events, commonly asked registration questions, and helpful tips from National Council staff who are Hill Day veterans.
