CMS Regional Teleconferences Will Provide Updates on Health Reform

by Rebecca Farley on August 30, 2012

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has announced it will hold 10 regional teleconferences from September 6th through the 14th to provide updates on insurance exchanges and discuss strategies for educating groups that can benefit from the health care reform law.

The teleconferences will update stakeholders on the latest information regarding implementation of the online exchange markets that set to begin in 2014 under the Affordable Care Act. The teleconferences will also include a discussion of strategies to educate the uninsured, under-insured, and small businesses about expanded insurance coverage options under the law.

CMS noted that phone lines are limited and registration is required to participate in the teleconferences. For more information, registration, and a schedule of the teleconferences, click here.
